Steve Jacobs was invited to join the list of instructors that have been selected to teach the University of California Cooperative Extension, San Diego County Master Gardener Class of 2014.  Steve was a part of a team of UC researchers, industry professionals, and local experts that will in total provide the training class with more than 100 hours of instruction over the 19 week course.  A variety of topics will be addressed including Soils, Water Management, Plant Pathology, Integrated Pest Management, Tree Crop Management, and Vegetable Crop Management. After successfully completing the course, the newly graduated Master Gardeners will provide educational outreach to the citizens of San Diego County regarding non-commercial home horticulture and pest management.
