Nature Designs was proudly accepted as a vendor member of the Domestic Estate Managers Association this year. DEMA is a national organization of private service providers for estate properties. DEMA’s San Diego Chapter President Sara Recer, a private Estate Manager and client, recommended that Nature Designs join this elite group of service professionals. The San Diego Chapter was launched in early 2013 and owner Steve Jacobs believed this was a perfect fit for our landscape estate services.
DEMA standards for vendor members include drug, alcohol and smoke-free policies, background investigations, safety policies and continuing training programs, and non-disclosure agreements regarding the organization and member information. All members are licensed, bonded and insured.
Monthly meetings are centered around networking and education, with a focus on highlighting local resources. Vendor members span in range from chauffeurs, helicopter and private air services, chefs, nannies, art and jewelry restoration, interior upholstery cleaning services, house painters and auto detailing, to window cleaning services; typically known as white-glove services providers.
This organization provides an avenue for Estate Managers to network with each other and to find qualified and background investigated professionals who qualify to work at an estate level.
