As Project Manager for Nature Designs, Kelly uses her 25 years of business experience in high-end residential design/build landscape development, ornamental metal fabrication and brand communications to direct the highest quality projects.
She earned her Bachelors of Landscape Architecture degree from Oklahoma State University, and currently holds a General Contractor's and Landscape Contractor's license in the State of California. Her work was awarded merit recognition by the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects and she has numerous nationally published residential projects. In 2000, Kelly authored an instructional workbook entitled 'How to Create a Stylish Garden, from Design to the Dirty Work.'
Kelly's Industry service includes past Educational Program Chair for the San Diego Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), international judge for Canada's Communities in Bloom and currently holds positions as the San Diego District Vice President and State Chapter Communications Chair for the Association for Professional Landscape Designers (APLD).
Kelly also provides lectures and workshops on business and project management, business development and social media marketing to organizations such as California Landscape Contractor's Association (CLCA), Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD), National Association of Professional Women in Landscape (NAPWL) and is a Continuing Education Provider for American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD).
